Are india developed really after sixty years of independence????

Yes,now we are all talking about india to become superpower in 2020.Because we are one of the most powerful emerging ecnomic power in this region.IT industries are booming in india.It generating approximately 500000 employment oppurtunities every year.All states are interested in constructing special ecnomic zone and industries.At the top of all this,we made important nuclear deal with US for our future energy needs.
Are you think this only be enough to become superpower
in 2020? I said certainly not.In the name of path of development we are going into the path of distress.
Whether our political leaders made effort to increase our
agricultural process.They only abduct land from poor farmers
and construct industries.Till now,we cannot solve the
problem of interstate water disputes.If we fail to plan
linking of rivers now,then we now plan to fail in future.
Apart from this,there are periodic terrorist attacks
in parts of india.our goverment did not take any
considerable step to counter attack terrorism
The how will we can tell that india is really
developed?what steps will be taken now to become superpower?

im a filipino but i would like to give my reaction frined i get to watch mnay movies and scene in your country friend just like national geographic channel. and what i know is that india is usually affected with calamities that really cause a great disaster for the country. i guess other contributors that really blocks india's development is culture. i watch one show in nat geo channel and that i guess there are still those traditional people there that dont want to accept today's lifestyle. since india is also a very large country, the government is really hard up of controlling everybody but i guess they will if they really give a lot of action. india is becoming a major english speaking country here in asia and that is good becoz communication is very important in business. friend this is all i know pls bare with it and correct me if i did made a mistake im open here in mylot. thanks and gud day.
