Hot Cross Buns - Hot Cross Buns, are very special at Easter time

I have always loved Hot Cross Buns.When I was a kid I just could'nt wait for Easter to roll around so I could enjoy these special great tasting buns and still regard them as special.These days I see that local bakeries are baking them all year round.Does this take away some of the special feel of Easter?

I don't believe I've ever had a Hot Cross Bun. I'll have to check them out. Maybe I'll go look for a recipe and have my daughter help me make them.
