My friend is just now hearing the hit song "Total Eclipse Of The Heart," by: Bonnie Tyler. Yes, the one that came out in 1983. Anyway, she is amazed as I was at 13, by the instrutments. Especially, the one thing sounds like thunder. She is wanting to know what instrutment that is. I would not mind knowing myself, as it sounds real funky. I have the C.D. and have always loved that song. Does anyone know what made that sound?

I sing that song all of the time, and I like to do the "Futurama" version of it.

I like that song too, but I have no idea what makes that sound. It may be a sound effect button on the synthesizer or something.

Knowing Steinman, it's probably a guitar. He found a guitar player to make the "motorcycle" sound on Meatloaf's Bat out of Hell album using a guitar. Steinman's a little crazy like that... but that's what makes him so damn awesome.

Its a drum or some sort of a cymble to make that noise. My son has a set of drums and he use to play them in gargage all the time. I loved hearing all the music he played.
