You are happy and lively in the moring and crave for reaching heights that you have imagined to achieve by way Of money and fame. Unmindful of the fact that things might turn upside down if a serious health condition develop, most of us run helter skelter in getting things done at the quickest moment. Such is the modern mode of thinking resorted to by most humans. One of my physician friends would often say that a severe pain in the chest is all that is required to destroy your entire equilibrium, no matter how much money and fame you have gained. Hence life's activities ...even our single step are in the hands of destiny who is the supremo.. Aren't all of us just puppets on a string?

yes, friend the supremo has the strings in his hands , what we have to do is act our best till we are alive. Though we know that we are going to die sooner or later but we strive hard to achieve material things,because this is the materialistic world, if we don't have comforts of all these things in this world,people think you to be inferior,so we have to do our karma and die as God expects that from us.

Even if the hand to which the the string is attached,lets us perform the so called karma we can very well be guided by the Hand.So all depends upon the hand to perform the karma or not.
Hence u cannot as a human being claim credit for what ever actions u may have committed or omitted. All u need to do is be thankful for the day's best happenings and praise the Hand for not giving u the worser things.

Hey s794,
Puppets on a string-I don't think so.What I do believe is that we are placed here on earth for God's pleasure so we should do things that try & please God.If some strange circumstance happens to me & I kick the bucket I'm not worried about it the only thing I want is to kick it hard-right over the barn when I buy the farm LOL

We may be puppets on a string, but we have the choice of dancing to our own tune. In fact, we are always dancing to the tune we have created for ourselves. So why not create a happy tune and dance free of worry or concern? Money and time are just a part of many things that life evolves around. Those puppet strings choke some while others never ever get tangled up within them.

You may choose to believe this way, that we are all puppets manipulated by the higher supreme as it appears so. We come to earth naked and return with nothing. Whatever we have and achieved in life, they will all turn to dust when we turn to dust from the sudden pain. However, are we really puppets? We have heard of many who have fight and won the battle. In my opinion, we are puppets only if we allow ourselves to be.

all that you need to understand this democracy is the Hand that holds the strings has inherently put forward right in the beginning as follows:
for the people
to the porple
by the HAND
If at all the so called western world stop thinking
themselves as aliens to this earth and stop again
by thinking its their only prerogative to sustain democracy then we may have lesser things for discussions
