The new American Idol season will have auditions from my state

It is funny how it all works. They go one day to sign up. The line started forming at midnight and the doors didn't open until 6am. They go in and fill out the forms then had to go back in 2 days. On that day the line formed again in the middle of the night and the doors didn't open until 8am. Once in they would pick a group of people to go in front of the producers. My niece who has a beautiful voice went and was told she was not what they were looking for as did a girl that the local radio stations sent down and was told the same thing. Yet there was a guy in a bathrobe, shower cap and rubber ducky and he got on. So some of those that get on are just for TV reasons while some with great voices never get on because they aren't good for television ratings. It is kind of sad as those that do get on may be really bad but because they passed when others with good voices don't they think they have a great voice only to find out later it is a joke. It is really sad. I am sure I will watch it again this season but will feel sorry for those that got on as a joke knowing they think they were picked because of their voices not as a joke for ratings.

I agree I remember this past season. I got mad because I agree they would say no to some of the ones I thought sounds ok but they still said no. yet they let ones on I felt like that did not deserve to be on.

They are not having auditions in my state but certainly close enough as Philadelphia is close to us. I am sure many Delawareans will be heading toward Philly for auditions if they have not done so already. It would be neat to have someone win that lives close to home but do not know what kind of people will show up. It is ashame that some good singers get left out and feel bad for them. The people that dress up and act goofy should go on some other show for that. This is supposed to be singing competition, not the funniest home videos show.

Our Australian Idol has just started, I can't believe the silly people who go and waste time trying to get on and then when some one good comes on that has a not so bad act one of the judges says terrible things, I don't believe when someone is genuinly trying, and I am not talking about the silly ones the judges should not personally destry the dreams just because they don't like it, some of them are rather good, I think they forget talen is a matter of taste so there is not need being rude just because it doesn't suit their taste.

That's the name of the game. Ratings is very important than real talents. But there will be another door for those who really has the voice just keep on singing.

As the saying goes, "Anything for a buck." It's a sad sad world because of what it became. The world as we know it isn't here for much longer. It makes me wonder how bad it got before Noah built the ark and God flooded the world. How bad is it going to get before he destroys the world again but this time by fire. I hope my animals and loved ones including myself are all gone by then.
