Kelly Clarkson VS Carrie Underwood

I love Kelly Clarkson.. to me.. she's the REAL Idol!!! Carrie I'm growing to like a little more but when she was on the show she SUCKED! I like her music but realize too that if she were to sing live without any "fixing" of her voice that she wouldn't be all that great still. I do believe though that she has grown a lot and I'm sure her efforts have paid off.

I like them both, but I prefer Carrie Underwood. I'm more of a country fan in general anyways, but I like the songs that she has come out with.

I like Carrie Underwood the best myself although Kelly Clarkson is a good singer also. Carrie seems like she has went a long way since she won.

As you know from my username, I am a Kelly Fan!! I would definitely say Kelly Clarkson because she is the original American Idol.

I think Kelly Clarkson has been the best Idol so far. She's been incredibly successful. Her songs stick in your head and you can't help but sing along.

Im gonna have to go with Kelly here..One reason is cuz im still bitter that Carrie beat Bo Bice. I loved him! Also i dont like country music..I kinda feel that Carrie isnt at good as a performer either..Kelly has it all..the looks and the talent...plus she has a better voice!

its like apples and oranges both are great but in their own domains... Kelly is awesome in pop,semi-rock while Carrie is all out in country Music personally since I'm not a fan of country Music i would say Kelly Clarkson

I think Kelly Clarkson is by far superior to Carrie Underwood. The only reason Carrie did so well is that she stayed in the country genre. She could not make it in the pop world. In my opinion she should have gone on Nashville Star and not American Idol.

definitely Kelly Clarkson! i admit Carrie's good, and i was really rooting for her on season 4, but now that i see both Kelly and Carrie performing like equals, i can see that Kelly is more versatile, because she had tried everything (rock, pop, country, jazz)...and she is undeniably good at each genre! Carrie still has a long way to go, i think...

I loved Kelly's Breakaway album. I didn't care too much for Thankful. My December was pretty good to. I have to say I like Carrie a little more However. I'm addicted to her new album.

Personally for me, I have always Loved Carrie Underwod more than Kelly. To me I did not even have a want or desire to listen to any of Kelly's music until just recently even. I know I did not watch Season 1 but I have seen repeats of the show, and to me Carrie will always be a Star, and I cannot wait until her second CD comes out in October.

Tough decision! I really love Kelly Clarkson because her music is just a wonderful experience to listen to; however, Carrie Underwood is talented as well. I am a country girl at heart, but I have to say that Kelly wins the contest in my mind.

i havent hear much of carrie underwood as i m not into country music (i like rock and pop) and thats y i didnt like her performance that much in the American Idol show. so obviously, i like kelly clarkson more and i simply love her album 'breakaway' as almost all the songs are extremely good and the rest are not bad too. kelly's the best =)
