Are you a tired, stressed, over worked, under appreciated mom?

Are you a single mom who has no help? Are you a mom who doesn't think she should need help? Do you have a baby who has colic or is teething? Kids tearing up the house and making lots of noise? Demands on you from every corner? Did you know most cities and towns have a drop off babysitting place? In Albuquerque its called Kids Country Club. You can drop off your child to go shopping, go to the movies - have a date with your husband - or go home and take a relaxing bath complete with candles and aromatherapy - the novel you haven't been able to finish - or start! Watch the Oxygen Network on tv... You know, on planes, they tell you that in an emergency situation, give yourself oxygen first - then your child. The same is true for life as well. You need to give time to yourself as well, to re-energize and be able to give more to your family. Remember to do thorough research on any child care facility! What ideas do you have for taking time for yourself?

Hi there Artemis! I am not a single mom but I take my time out by taking a long warm bubble bath and sometimes, shopping. I also play online games for fun.

Great ideas, Sounds like you have some help. Or do you take bubble baths when they go to sleep and shop with the kids? My parents live too far away for that. Thanks nanayangel - great ideas!
