Can you eat your food without your glasses on?

I know eating in the dark is different, but know that I have gotten older, I know what I have on my plate, but it is just blurry! I want to see what exactly what is on my plate, maybe something is in it that I don't want to be in there. It's easy if it's like ice cream or pizza or your eating cup of soup. But what about chinese food? Or a italian dish?

I never really thought about it but I never eat without my glasses on. I will drink a glass of water in the middle of the night without them but other than that I need to see. I remember growing up and my dad would always tip the candle to read the menu in restaurants and would complain about the darkness, now I find myself complaining about the same things.

Well my vision is getting worse everyday, I can still see the TV without glasses which I thank goodness for, but I am always making fun of my husband about sleeping with his glasses on. But 50 is right around the corner and I really need to invest in some glasses besides the ones at the Dollar Store

Hello.
I knowe exatly what you mean I cant eat whithout my glases I hawe to se the plate lol or what on it. If I dont hawe my glases its imposible for me to see the fod so I nead them for eating and reading and ofcourse computer work.

I can tell by your picture you are a experienced at this sort of matter. When do your eyes get bad so you can not see far away? My arms are not long enough anymore to see up close, that is why I must use the biofocals NOW. I just hate wearing glasses, once I went to the grocery store without them, boy was I sorry when I got up to the check out!!!
