how will you deal with teenagers with lesbian tendencies?

i have a student who was reported having a lesbian tendencies.. it is so hard for me to deal with it though i have friends who are lesbians and gay.. it is very sensitive to talk about.. if you have such case, how will you talk with a teenagers you are not related with but by relation of work?

I was just wondering what it means to "be reported" as having lesbian tendencies? I am unsure why it is a big deal, and why it is up to you to have to talk to her about it. If I worked with someone with such tendencies I cant say I would treat them any different, but I am unsure in what work you mean. Do you have to talk to her about it? I didnt know it was such a serious offence to have lesbian tendencies that one would be reported?

Oh okay, I think I understand now. This is a hard situation as you dont want to make her feel uncomfortable especially if the report was wrong. It sounds like you have it under control now, I guess just making sure she is not in any situations that might make it hard for people involved and or seperating certain people? I understand in certian schools and things that it can be hard to let certian behaviour that strays from the beliefs or religions of the school to continue but to also be understanding of how young people can be fragile, and that guidance not punishment for such things is a better approach.
I personally have no problems with homosexuallity but I also understand there are certian people and institutions that do and in these cases I dont hold any judgement or have any real ideas on how to handle or approch such things so I wish you all the best with your situation.
