Have you ever received less than $1.00 for an Associated Content article?

So, my question is this. Have you ever received less than $1.00 for an article accepted by Associated Content? And, I don't mean the free articles that they publish for non-pay or the freebie articles. I mean, what's the smallest amount of money that Associated Content has ever agreed to pay you for an article? I've considered writing for Associated Content or even Helium, however, writing an article can take me several hours, and I want to be sure they are really interested before investing that much time. And, if they're just going to pay a dollar for something that would take a couple hours then I could easily earn that from posting on My Lot.
