Can Wimax replace WIFI?

Wimax is new technology. It's so cool. The speed is higher, excellent bandwidth, v.v... IN my opinion, WIMAX will replace WIFI someday.

lol. You sound like my boss. I'm not a techie person but my boss has been gushing about Wimax and his opinion is that it will replace Wifi, 3G, etc..

Now wimax is bit advance n easy , more fast n more reliable technology compare to wifi.. But if wifi is meeting requirement of people then may b wimax will take time to get the hold on the market. But still i think it will soon b in our homes
