Do you have a brain tumor - or know someone who has?

I think about those who do to make myself feel better. I know my worst headache can't be that bad compared to those who have cancer. Since my baby was born, my migraines have increased in both frequency and intensity. I get whoppers of headaches but today's was the mother of all whoppers! I don't know if there was any prodrome - for me its tingling on the top of my head like its falling asleep - but today I got slammed with the headache before I opened my eyes. And it got worse with movement. I'd get surges of more pain and dizzyness. And nausea and the whole graying of vision. I'm nursing so normally I don't take anything - I bear thru bad headaches untilt he baby go to sleeps then I take Tylenol or if its soooooo bad Excederin Migraine. I hate taking medicine because it builds up in the liver. Today I took Excederin and gave the baby to my husband - had to wake him up as he works nights. He is a laid back person so although he hates waking up early he took the baby. Its just a normal headache now but I still feel dizzy. Its a terrible thought, but I almost wish it were a benign tumour - one that was operable and that I could recover from - only because I want them to go away. I've had so many bad headaches -ones I worked through when not a stay at home mom - but they're just getting worse and worse. What about you - do you know someone with a brain tumour or bad headaches? What do you do for headaches? I had one discussion about natural cures but didn't get too many responses on that - do you have natural cures - no medication?

Hello artemis432..... My wife had a brain tumor bigger than a walnut removed 3 years ago. She never had headaches. You might want to look into testing your home for carbon dioxide and/or formaldehyde fumes from insulation. Tom

I will do that - since we did just move to base when I had the baby - so new house. Although its literally a new house - is that as likely?

Hello artemis... It is possible....remember all the mobile homes fema provided for the victims of hurricane Katrina.....all of them had insulation that contained formaldehyde....they are now for sale all over the country. I'm suggesting this is a possible cause, not a definate cause of your headaches. I'm fairly sure any decent hardware store could provide a testing device. Tom
