I had two African Dwarf Frogs and now I have one. I found one dead in the tank last night and I'm not sure what happened. I feed them bloodworms everyday but one when they eat pellets. The temperature stays in the mid sventies, the PH level stays good...as far as I know. I'm not sure what it could have been. I haven't had them very long...about two months now. I was really watching over the other one because when we got them at the pet store...the lady dropped him on the floor, so I checked on him a lot. I was actually looking for him when I found the dead one laying on the bottom of the tank.:( Do you know what could have gone wrong. Are there any details I'm looking over. I don't want to continue possibly doing something wrong and end up killing the other one!

I have two frogs as well. I thought they were African dwarf frogs, but they are actually African clawed frogs. They can get very aggressive. You do a lot to care for your tank! I dont check the temp, or the ph level, and my frogs have stayed alive. I have had them for almost six months now, fat as ever. Sorry I dont know what happened. Sometimes they just are sick. He was probably sick when you bought him. Sorry about your loss

I'm not sure what happened either. I'm watching the other one closely and he seems to be doing very well thank goodness. i also think he was sick when we got him. THey say it's easy to get the two mixed up. A lot of pet stores will have them together and just call them all african dwarf frogs. The ADF's are more relaxed though. The only difference is their feet as far as appearance goes. I'm glad yours are happy and healthy and I hope they don't fight too much! Do they fight with each other..or do you have them with other fish or anything?
