What motivates you to getting out of bed in the morning?

Like I said in a previous discussion, I keep searching, and asking and looking and learning and hoping that one day all that I suspected that would be mine, WOULD be mine. I have this feeling waaaaaaaay down deep in my gut that there is more to life than what most of us experience. And I'm not just referring to monetary things. Maybe its just spiritual. Reaching a level of spiritual maturity that leaves you contented. Or for some, it may be having loads and loads of money but without the problems having loads and loads of money can bring. What motivates you? Finding the cure for cancer? Solving the peace problem, maybe? Getting rid of world hunger? What stirs your juices? Tell me. I'd really like to know...

Well initially, my cat. If I stay in bed I can't get up and pet and love my cat. I'm not sure what else to be honest. I think I lack motivation more times than not and I just don't know what to do with myself half the time either. I don't wnat to cure the ill or feed the hungry. I don't long to do something spectacular and great for the world, but just for myself and for the people around me that I care about.

Yes. Thats my feelings exactly. I'm not one of those women whose goal in life is to climb the corporate ladder...even though I do have a 4 year college degree. The only thing I have to show for that is a loan balance that keeps getting larger every time they sell it to a new company. Last I checked it was up to $26,000! Up from an original of under $10,000. But I digress. I don't even dream of a huge house, just one big enough to hold me and my family if ever I get married and have children.

It's really all about babysteps so that's the best way to go about it. Small steps towards larger goals. Smaller goals relating to just you...and/or you and your family.

What motivates me in the morning? Nothing much... there are just times that I need to wake up early in the morning just like there are things that I have to do or the baby wakes me up so I have no choice.

I've said that children are great motivators, but what is your bliss? What keeps you going after you've taken care of the children's needs?
