how did you find out that Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny wasn't real?

i think I was probably about 5 or so. I had an older brother and sister too so that kind of aided in the giveaway. I remember my mom had sent us to bed on Christmas Eve and I had woke up to use the restroom. I saw her coming with a big box full of rapped presents (I learned later that she would wrap them over my grandmothers). It still didn't take the surprise and fun out of Christmas though,it just made me think a little longer about believing things my parents said that just didn't sound quite true. I remember I caught my dad putting money under my pillow, that's how the Tooth Fairy was messed up for me..lol. what are some of your experiences?
