Do rehab centers really work?

I have never been in a rehabilitation center, but I am quite sure that they work. However, the person going in to rehab must be serious about making changes. They must also have a strong support system. A lot of people come out of rehab thinking that they can keep the same friends and go to all of the same places that they once did. This is one of the major reasons that they have a relaspe.
