My husband has a habit of skipping atleast 500 times everyday. He does it together with his other exercises. But I have heard that your leg become very stiff, is it true? He complains that the day he doesn't skip a rope his legs pain very much, should he stop.

According to an article I came across, jumping rope does a good job protecting your joints. It certainly is easier on the knee joints than running because the impact of each jump is handled by both legs, simultaneously. And unlike jogging, jumping rope is also good for your arms. The shoulders get a really good workout from keeping that rope in motion. Ai in everything ,moderation is the key word:)
