with your partner/friends/family? Sometimes I enjoy renting or buying a movie and watching it alone, but I find that it's always nicer to have someone to laugh, cry, joke with, or just your partner to snuggle up close to. What do you prefer?

i prefer to enjoy movies myself, because people's taste for movie are different and i need to concentrate my thought and soul into what i am watching instead of discussion or sharing feelings. of course, discussion and sharing can be good. but they are good , in my opinion, only after i've finished them and based on through understanding of them. if there were people around me when i watch movies, i can't devote myself on them and can't understand them deeply. this is not my priciple or purpose of watching movies.

=] thanks for the corrections - certainly makes it a lot easier to know what I'm reading =D I agree, but I suppose it depends on the movie and my company. My close friends, boyfriend and mum are all awesome to watch with, as they're not distracting or talkative during the film.

my house is full of "movie talkers" the kind of ppl that either are always asking questions about what is going on cause they arent really paying attention, or (the worst kind) those that decide the middle of a movie is an excellent time to start a totally unrelated discussion!! that last one really drives me nuts, but since it is the lady i take care of and she is my elder, i just have to grin and bare it!..then when she gets tired i end up rewinding a good portion of the movie! ugh...

haha I know exactly what you mean. My sister is one of such people who start conversations or ask too many questions and cause you to miss dialogue or not pay attention! In such cases, I definitely prefer to watch them alone =]

It doesn't matter to me.I usually see films alone first and if it a film is a title a loved one would like, i'll see it with them.

I love watching them with my Hubby. Sometimes we watch them alone...I watch my romantic ones and he watches his sci-fi ones. AT PEACE WITHIN

for me . it's better to watch a movie with your partner or friend coz then u will something to talk about after the movie. something in common in a conversation . watching alone doesn't work for me .. i'd rather not watch at all :/

Fair enough. I like being able to appreciate a movie alone, but i know what you mean about conversation etc.
