do your parents like your friends?

I am asking this question because i have experiences. My parents dont like some of my friends and they keep on complaining about whatever they do. I can not deny all of their complaints. Because nobody is perfect. There are some imperfections on my friends' side too. But it gives a very bad feeling when our parents or relatives don not like our friends.

Hi vijay1wdv! I guess, my parents don't like all of my friends. I guess, it is because they see something in them that they feel don't trust. Somehow I ralized that they are right because over the years these friends that I thought are good people turned out to be not so good at all. take care and have a nice day!

it really hurts me whenever i hear rude complaints from my parents especially when they're talking about my friends. it's not that i totally hate them for doing that. i understand that they only want the best for me but i think that they just have to keep an open mind about it. as you guys said, nobody is perfect.

My parents do not dislike my friends. They know all about my friends and they also know that no body is perfect.

I and my parents are not really friends. Im not close to both of them. We always maintain a father -mother- daughter relationship. But i still love them, no question to that.I am free to choose any of my friends and when they meet them they're trying to be nice and polite to them. Civil i guess is more appropriate.

In general, my parents and relatives like all of my friends, but there have been times in the past that they haven't approved.
It's not too bad with my family, though, as they normally just say their piece but don't expect me to stop being friends with the person in question.
I prefer it for everyone to get along, though =D

My parents don't usually meet my friends. I keep an eccentric crowd and usually they're so different from eachother, my friends don't usually meet my other friends lol. Girlfriends on the other hand...my mom hates any girl I bring home. I'm the baby and nobody will ever be good enough for her youngest.
