I know there are a lot of 24 fans out there, and I'd probably be clobbered lol in a 24 fan club. actually I did watch the first season, and yes, it makes you want to watch the next episode because it keeps you hanging. In essence that is what makes the series attracting to a lot of viewers. Why do i hate it? Its too unreal. I mean its what the sixth season that just ended and its supposed to have been just the 6th day? (oh, i heard the last season wasnt that good). The guy never eats, his cell phone never runs out of battery, his daughter is so dumb she manages to get kidnapped thrice, be in car accident, all in one day????? Its too surreal for me. Its actually a good show, just not something i'd particularly enjoy watching. Same reason I dont enjoy prison break,

I understand why you hate the show. Some people like it, other people don't. It is unreal? Yes, but so is Lost. Anyway, if you hate so much why do you keep watching it?

Actually these are just random days I think because jack went away in the one season with the chinese government and apparently he didn't see anyone for a year or talk to anyone..that was the most recent season he had a crusty old beard and didnt talk at all either. I think what it is supposed to be like is one day out of the year not 6 days in a row that would just be farfetched ;)

Candy, you should watch it then, before judging. There is a lot of time loss in the show, and fans believe that these minor actions, like someone going to a bathroom, are taken in this times. As for cell phones, mine works for four days without needing a charge. I can go on a day without drinking water our eating something. If my day is stressful I am sure I wouldn't even notice.

Well, if you have seen the series properly, its so power packed, one would like to see Jack in action and not eating hamburger. His eating habits are irrelevant to show. The other point regarding the mobile, its a show of one day within which all the events happen, so i guess a mobile battery does run for one day at least no matter how much you use it. Thirdly, his daughter, yes i do admit that she gets involved with a lot of things but thats how the series becomes interesting. But i think this show is too addictive to ignore. Anyways, still I hear your opinion.

The concept of the show is that it is in real time over the course of 24 hours. Of course people eat and sleep and go to the bathroom over the course of a day. Every day. If there were a tv show where I watch someone sleep or eat or sit on the toilet I would surely change the channel. I dont want to watch anyone go to the bathroom. I dont care if Jack Bauer goes to the bathroom or not. I want to watch him get into trouble and get out of trouble. I want to suspend disbelief for an hour a week. If you dont like watching it because it isnt completely realistic then so be it. I find that there is very little that is realistic in tv save the news or maybe one of those church gatherings on public access. 24 is like most television. It is entertaining, and for one hour each week, makes the audience forget about their own problems and their own lives while they become enthralled with the lives and problems of those on screen characters. If this show isnt for you then I hope you find some that are. I enjoy 24 very much however I love other shows as well. Hope you are entertained in everything you watch. Take care ~JOE~
