I usually eat dinner at 8:00 or later. For me, the idea time would be 5:00 or 6:00 but it just never seems to happen. Either my kids are going to practices or during the summer we sleep late and our meal schedule lags behind. Do you eat dinner at the same time every day? What time to you usually eat dinner. What are the factors that determine your dinner time?

We try to eat dinner as early as possible, but it really depends on how we're feeling and what we're having. My wife and I both get home from work around the same time, say... 5:30 PM. At that point, we want to wind down for a bit before even thinking about dinner. That gives us half an hour to ourselves, then dinner. So we prepare and probably eat dinner around 7 PM. It does depend, it's not usually the same. If we're hungry, we might rush it a bit. If we're not, then the opposite occurs. Maybe we have plans or something we've got to do that either pushes up or back out dinner schedule. I want to set a time, but it's too hard with our lives right now.

we don't eat dinner at the same time every day. I babysit a little boy who is here till 5:30. so usually we eat anywhere from 6-7 during the week and around 6 on the weekend. we have 3 kids of our own, so starting supper with all them running around tends to be difficult. i can start it but it takes longer because i have to stop to break up fights and check on the baby lol.

it gets later and later each year, but for some reason this year dinner time seems to occur between 7:30-8:30 pm. Usually that is when some good tv shows are on too so that is an added bonus (and surely is a great combination of good food and television). But the main reason usually is due to a late breakfast and hence everything else lags behind.

We usually eat dinner around 8:00 or after too. A couple of days I don't finish work until 7:00 and a couple of days my wife works until 8:15. Besides that we try to keep the baby to a routine of 7:00 bath then supper and bed by 8:00. On weekends we may eat earlier, but sometimes we're lazy and get a takeaway so eat late then too.

Monday through Saturday dinner is eaten in my household at 6 p.m. or so. Usually within a half hour of that time anyhow. My dad whom I care for has a set time for anything and everything he does. So he needs his dinner at 6 every night. Now on Sundays we usually have the daughter, the grandsons, and or the son over so dinner time varioews a lot for Sundays. But no later than 7 p.m. though. I can't eat too late in the evening. Doesn't leave room nor time for donuts later actually. HAHAHA! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

We usually eat dinner at five pm., but sometimes I have dinner around six, especially if I am making something that takes an hour to prepare like oven fried chicken or sweet and sour spareribs or if I am particularly tired. My husband likes to watch Holmes on Holmes and that is usually on at five, but last week he was listening to Harry Potter and so we did not have dinner till six and twice at six thirty because we were out those two days.

My mom wanted me to lose weight thats why she always cook our dinner around 4pm and by 5pm we usually have dinner. At first, It was hard for me since i ate really late around 10pm but as time passes by I became immune to that schedule. In addition I lost almost 40lbs in just 8 mos. but ofcourse with the help of exercise )eg. brisk walking in the morning). I think it's just up to you whether you really are into it...

I usually eat my dinner at around 7:00pm. Its not actually the same time everyday, some days I eat earlier and some later. Some factors I consider that determine my dinner time are: When my stomach feels and start to rumble. :-) Start of primetime news on television that we regularly watch. My family calling me to dinner. that's about it I think. :-)

I don't have dinner at the same time everyday, since I usually need to OT for sometime in the afternnon in the office. But I would try to leave the office at 6:30 pm, so it will be 7 pm that I have supper. But if I leave at 7:45, then the dinner would be 08:10 or something. I wish I could leave at 5:30 timely from now on, so that I could cook the meal myself and have dinner before 7:00 everyday. Otherwise, I am afraid my stomach would hurt. WBR.Andy

With everything that goes on in my house we are lucky to be home long enough for dinner. Sometimes we have it at 5:00 and sometime we don't get it until 8:30 or 9:00 and the kids are late getting to bed.

I do not really follow a time in eating dinner. Whenever I get hungry, I just eat. But sometimes when I have short of money I would follow a time or schedule for eating.

My stomach start singing when it's 5.30pm. I normally have lunch at 12noon. No tea break, so it's the right time to ring the hungry alarm at 5.30pm.
