Sixteen-year-old Adnan was kidnapped on Saturday night and later killed. His killers allegedly met him through the social networking site Orkut. According to the police, Adnan's killers gave him an alcoholic drink laced with sleeping pills before strangling him. He was allegedly killed by three men he met on the social networking site Orkut. Two of the accused have been sent to police custody till August 28 while one has been sent to a juvenile home. Courtesy: NDTV India

Orkut didn't kill anyone. It is the same to say that a restaurant killed someone who met the killer there. It is just a place where people meet each other.

I wouldn't say orkut killed Adnan but his own stupidity did. Why would you meet some strangers you met online and go drinking with them? Doesn't sound like a smart thing to do and orkut was just a meeting place, it could have just as easily have been Mcdonalds where they met.

i jus guess it was really sad hear and see all this the news........he was such a smart guy..............but then we should have our own limits.......we should choose the frens we want to meet or not ..............trusting is not bad but over trusting them with all good intentions is going to prove wrong so decide whether ur really ready to handle urself in difficult situations or not..........
