Kids' High Blood Pressure Goes Untreated

I've been concerned about it as well. After my daughter turned 2 or 3 they started checking her blood pressure at every doctors appointment. I'm glad to see that its starting to come out in the news because I think more parents need to be aware of it!!

It is a shame our children are getting diseases that only adults use to get. Our children have a high rate of obesity, diabetes, and now hypertension. All three disorders go hand and hand. As adults we are the ones who have to watch out for our children and have to make sure they are eating corretly and getting the right amount of exercise. It will be a shame if our children start dieing before us because of these disorders and diseases.
