How do you feel the situation with the Utah Miners has been handled?

I'm in Utah and we see a lot more of the news feeds than most other states. I have mixed emotions about the whole thing. I think the families should have said something sooner. I think they should have tried to get rescuers down a tunnel from the top of the mine from the very beginning. At least they could have looked around to see if they could find anything. I feel so bad for all the families. For the families of the 6 trapped miners and the families of the rescuers that were injured or died. And now with the latest news that they could be entombed in that mountain forever...I just can't imagine what those families are going through.
