Achieving anything is possible as long as you have the Burning Desire to achieve it, i.e, creating the next scientific experiment, topping your exams, receiving the next promotion, losing your weight, learning a new art? Anything is possible. The recent slogan of Nike Shoes says it all "Impossible is nothing" If you have a Burning Desire and sow the seeds of intention, the universe conspires to help you. This happens only if your intentions are true and pure. Friends please share your views..

No, I don’t have a burning desire to succeed. I take whatever life gives me and mould it according to circumstances and try to remain happy that way. You see, there is no end to our wants and desires. If I have a ‘burning’ desire to succeed in everything (people who have a burning desire, have it for everything), I would soon burn myself out! And then what will be left of me? Ashes??? What will I do with ashes …scatter them over fields! Ha ha ha…no I would rather go slow, enjoy as much as possible the nature around me and spend some time just idling away, doing nothing.

Thanks for your inspiring texts of wisdom. Yeah...sure, as everybody has own burning desire. And burning desire is to have lucrative business. So I have to work harder and Smarter; Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Reachable, Time frame, Exciting and Rewarding. Still working on it while looking at the outcome.

Dear vaidhyanathan, I am a person with simple values and simple thoughts. I love simple things and simple acts of thoughfulness would bring tears in my eyes. Until recently i have lived a life for others only. I have lived for others and worked on their happiness. By 'others' i mean my family. But things are not that smooth sailing. I have had the greatest lesson in life - you give, you do and they take you for granted. That's being my greatest mistake, i have realised how important it is to stand out tall and live my own life. You must be thinking, what a digress!! but, my blabberings has the answer to your query. No, i am not a person with burning desire to succeed, to become the ace man, to stand out humungous... i have been more of a laid back kind but as of now i have learned to chase my dreams. I have reduced my weight, which was far fetched in yesterday's perspective, i have started to learn and read things, i am getting smarter following my heart. I am free man - just as i had wanted to become always. That was a long read, i guess. Thanks for listening to me. smiles...

I agree with your views friend, but i have the experience that having a desire only, doesn't work in real life, sometimes there are such conditions or situations around you that you fall prey to them, it feels like your hands and legs are tied up and you can't move even a single step, though the desire is burning, it turns to ashes afer some time.

Of course I have. Once I read an article. It said there is nothing difficult, if you put your heart into it. And now I want my English to be excellent. Try hard and don't lose my heart, I will succeed one day.

Yes I have a burning desire to succeed and I'm well on my way to getting there. The onyl place where success comes before work is in the dictionary. Added to that i have a lot of people who don't believe in me and what I'm doing to prove wrong. It's amazing how those closest to you can be dream killers if you let them, however one some of me mantras are "Never let anyone determine how you act" and "It's kind of fun to do the impossible" so I take my haters and let them be motivators for me in getting where I want to be and doing the impossible.
