What's the most dangerous thing you've done today?

The other day I heard someone say that the most dangerous thing they had done for the day was to drive their car! And, thinking about it, that makes sense, considering that cars can be a real hazard. With that being said, they're also a necessity and I can't imagine anyone giving up their car anytime soon.
As for me, the most dangerous thing that I've done today is go into my kitchen. Cooking is not a past time hobby that a clumsy person should take very lightly! And, I'm very clumsy, so I have to be watchful of everything I do. I'm more likely to burn my fingertips in the kitchen than the toast. For me, the kitchen is a very dangerous place when it comes to cooking dinner.
So, what's the most dangerous thing that you've done today? Would you consider driving your car or truck to be a dangerous past time? Would your job be considered dangerous? How do you deal with these common dangers without worry?

Let's see... probably when I walked into the bathroom at 3:00 am and found that hubby had left the water turned on on our toilet which at the moment has a leak. When I walked in there, there was water all over the floor getting ready to hit the wall. I made it just in time.
So walking across a wet and slippery bathroom floor was probably the most dangerous thing I did today. :D

We had a similar leak in the front bathroom about six months ago, and I ran into the same water puddle at three am like you. It took me a half hour to figure out the tank in the back was leaking and that the actual toilet hadn't just run over!

I agree that driving is pretty dangerous. For those of usewho don't drive to work/school/wherever, taking public transit could also be considered pretty dangerous.
But my most dangerous move today was probably sort of jogging across a crosswalk when the don't walk sign was flashing. It's a pretty big intersection, so I probably didn't need to jog to avoid being hit, but it still wasn't the greatest idea. I just didn't want to have to stand and wait for a few minutes for the lights to cycle around again.

Once I did that as well, and later wondered why I hadn't just waited for the signal. I had nightmares about it for ages! Never wanna do that again. Very dangerous as you say. But you are definitely lucky.

Well, I was on the highway driving with a van driver I'd never met before...but last night I was hammering a curtain rod back into the wall standing on the bed when I fell off into a heap of laundry my gf had just put down,lol,I have to buy her a present!!

I don't really think I did anything very dangerous today. I didn't go anywhere, so I wasn't out on the road. I hate to admit it, but my son's lunch was leftovers heated up in the microwave, and his snacks didn't involve any cooking. My husband just had left overs for dinners, so he took care of that himself. My son just wanted a peanut butter sandwich, so that's all my son and I ate, with carrots, and grapes. So I didn't cook at all today! lol
I really don't think I did anything more dangerous than walk up and down my stairs. lol That can be dangerous, just because my cat always wants to walk up and down the stairs with me!

hi beautyqueen26,thank God you asked this question as i really did one thing dangerous today here on mylot..i'll tell you just now but please listen to me first why i am thanking you because by posting my fear here i'll feel better as it would be kind of out from my brain a bit..you know what i did..i was responding to a post trying to help a member here when she asked about earnings on mylot and i told her everything i was told on my first day by one of the members here when i have asked them..and i also told the that person what i have read it in a blog that too provided by a member here..i don't remember any of the names..that person who started the discussion did not say anything but some other person commented on what i had written(which was not against any rule on mylot)but she challenged me about what i had written..i am so afraid of her..as looking at her post number she seems to be here for long..so i told her about one of the blog links which i found spending 30 minutes so that she may not mind that i did not responded..but i am still afraid..why..because i am 3 weeks old here i have heard of getting yourself banned if somebody presses - on your post..i am just praying to God that she may not press - coz i don't want to leave mylot...please pray for me if possible..bye beautyqueen26.
