So they are. I love Mwtallica and their tunes and so do all of my friends and family.
I'm a crazy Metallica nerd and Metallica is the only band i ever listen to. Have you noticed that they almost never use distortion in their songs? They use an old blues/classic rock sound called overdrive. I love the idea of using that oldish clean sound in modern metal songs, it's brilliant! I can't wait to see them at stockholm stadium next year and I hope they will just as good as they were this year. Other than Metallica I also like the bit heavier System Of A Down, but that's a different story. Oh, and by the way! I tend to agree with you there Shareaza. Metallica does have a easy listening type of heavy metal sound to it. I love the guitar solos from metallica. eg at the beginning of "Fade to Black" and in "Nothing Else Matters" No other heavy metal bands have a guitarist more talented than Kirk Hammett.
