Does it bother you when older men/women call you hun, sweetie or baby?

I used to work in a call center and every once in a while I would get someone that would say goodbye to me and call me hun, or sweetie or honey..stuff like that. As long as I could tell that they just naturally said it to people, it didn't bother me. But I could usually tell if they meant it a different way. Does it bother you when someone calls you by such an endearing nickname and they don't even know you?

Hi there. Personally I dont like it, but it does happen, all I do to correct this and make me feel comfortable, is to tell that person, my name and that its not baby or sweetie, hun or deary... If they get offended then thats there problem...

No it doesn't bother me at all. I never really encountered much of it till I moved down to the south and veryone here talks that way...I actually think it's kinda cute
