Why do men avoid relationship talk?

Men are always ready or eager to do everything from ironing, washing up and nappy changing.A man can find a million or one other thing to do rather than sit down with his partner and (deep breath) talk about their relationship. Is it because men don't care about their women or its just that word 'relationship discussion' that mean different things to men and women?

hi stanch, im questioning that to myself too. 'COz my hubby is also like that. And it made me think and made me realized one thing. That its not the topic they are avoiding but the fact that maybe, while your talking about something u might not be satified;you will not be contented with his answer and that it will only cause u a misunderstanding (well its undeniable that somewhere in between a conversation might merge a fight. So before it may happen they're already avoiding it.

You know, I am still trying to find out why men don't like to talk about relationships. I think maybe it is because they are afraid of being labeled soft or affectioned.
