Since I am in Canada I can't pick who the next pres. will be so I guess it doesn't really matter to me. But we did have a female Prime Minister here I think for about a week. She wasn't voted in or anything. HAHA Personally I didn't like seeing a female Prime Minister here. I know I am a female and should be all "you go girl!" but I didn't like her. I think her name was Campbell and she always wore a broach initial C. For some reason I like seeing a dark suit and serious face of a man. She was bright and her clothes distracted me from her mouth which was probably in her favor. However I have seen Hilliary Clinton speak on television and I think she is a great woman with experience and hard working and would probably do a great job. As for a black pres, why not? No prob there. Truthfully it should be about the individual and not the color or gender that make us decide who will run our countries.

I think we all have beenbrainwashed into believing that a man in a suit is a better candidate than a woman in a dress, as that is what we have been used to all our life. But i think time is changing and we need to change with it. How would any black or female get a chance if we are not willing to give them the chance in the first place? Personally i hope America is ready and Obama or Hillary are both good candidates to me. I would go for Hillary if i could vote, but thats most coz i loved Billy :)

I think the world would be ready for a female president but maybe the better question is would the world be ready for Hilary? lol! I hope the world is ready for a black president. I think Obama would be great. Color of skin, gender, or faith should have nothing to do with politics but unfortunately it does. But because of these three factors, three particular candidates will be automatically voted for because of who they are not what they stand for. (well, I guess the religion one is what they stand for...) It will be an interesting turnout for sure!

Unfortunately i think you are right on this one hunni. Politicians often get voted for because of what they are not of their merrit, tho i could never vote for a black female republican. Its an elevction i will follow very closely tho i aint american and tho i am fund of Hillary i would be just as exited to see Obame make history.

I say yes and I think it's time and if the world is not ready, they need to be. How are they ever, if some one just doesn't do it and make them deal with it? You know? How many times has something unacceptable became so, without it being done? Does that make sense? I am out of coffee at the moment, LOL. Anyway, I say the US needs to set some positive trends to cover the negative ones thanks to the Shrub, so having a female or a black man in office is a great start.

Hello my friend. I don't know but I would like to see Obama as President. Ignoring the racial factor, I see him as a very strong candidate. I'm not sure about Hillary though. It would be good to see a female President, but she doesn't have it. I think maybe she's a bit of a cheap trick and she's playing on the fact that she's female. I think there are other women that could do a better job.

I would be glad to see Obama as president no doubt, but Hillary got one huge advantage, she has 8 years in the white house already, and dont fool yourself; she had loads of influence on the presidency of Billy Boy. Maybe there are other women out there who could do a better job, but unfortunately they aint running :)

I still say that the country would be better off with a Native American President, ME. I am still running for the job! I only need 500,000 signatures to be on the ballot. I have a little under 100 signatures right now, just need 499,900 more and I can run for sure!!

Hi Totty my dear friend, long time no see :) You know you will always have my support pal and i actually think you are right. The Natives was there long before any other white or coloured man, so in my opinion they should be running the country. Can you imagine Denmark being taken over by muslims and religious surpression, just becoz there are more muslims than native Danes? Tell ya pal, that is never gonna happen, so how can it happen in the USA? In my opinion the power should be given back to the people, and by this i mean the native ones. I will be on standby for ya call when you get into the white house :) Greetings and peace

I hope that there will be a black American president who could well protect not only the black people but also other races.

yes, If the person can show that they can do the job. If the person can solve some of our worst problems and has an actual plan. I think then it wont matter what gender or race or any of those things.
