I have a sister, Shes pretty, tall,a model. A starting model.. She is a call center agent trainee. I love her and i am happy that she is doing well of her career right now and to her life! I support her and i proud of her. Actually we are best of friends. But, yes sometimes i do insecure to her. Not in the sense that i am going to hate her just because i am insecure with her. I love her! so much! I can't avoid it sometimes especially there are people keep on comparing us. But i try myself not to be affected with that non sense thing. But you know, we have a feelings that sometimes is sensitive.. So. Have you ever feel insecure with your sister?

i think all sisters have felt that. i know my sister are smarter then me, they've been to college and have gotten good grades and i got pregnant right after high school and i really don't feel like going to college to get a full degree. i always hated when my mother told me how smart they were...it irritated me, i love them like hell, but they do make me feel stupid sometimes...i'm not sure if they mean it, but they do. i've never told them that, i just need to get over it. i know there are some things i can do better then they can, but they really don't care.

thanks. the feeling only happens when all 3 of us are together. growing up i was always close to only 1 at a time, and it was the eldest. when she went off to college i became closer to the 2nd oldest. we have fun together, but of course, they are smarter then me and we were raised by our father to be little wise a**'s lol. so most of the time its in good humor...but still, i had a low self esteem issue. thank god for my husband who ensures me that they don't mean it and not to worry about it too much. he's smarter them me...i know...but he makes me feel good about myself.

Hi ciades!!! I am lucky enough to having a sister with me... Well our friends, family and relatives would always compare us they would say that my sister is much prettier than me she also get to join beauty pageant... I dont have that feeling of being insecure to her because her succes is like a succes for me too.. Like if she won the title I am very proud and I can tell the world, "She is my sister" we came from beauty queens family!!!! though I may not tall and beautiful like her but mind you I am sexier than her,LOL! We have different beauty I am morena and she has a fair skin... We all have our own strenght and weaknesses though she is very pretty and tall I am more sexy than her. Everytime she join a contest I would assist and give her all my support. My sister is a bestfriend, a mentor and my life... If somebody fight her I will kick their a$$ LOL... Blood is thicker than water.... right?

My sister and I are two very different people. What makes her stand out is not noticed in me and what makes me stand out is not noticed in her. Comparing us would be like comparing apples and oranges; both fruit, but both different.

I have three sisters. All younger than me. I do not have this problem but love them all dearly. I can however put myself in your place and understand how you feel. I can tell you this however. In spite of how we all place value on how we look that is not where the true beauty is. When young we could be the most beautiful but that in time will fade. That is a certainty. What will not fade is the beauty in the heart. If you are a kind loving and caring person your beauty not only lies in your face but in your heart and you will captivate all who meet you. Love your sister as you do but try your best to be the person you would most like to have as a friend and forget about beauty. You are beautiful where it counts and it will be with you for all your life.

Hi Ciades, Yeah, I have one sister and I'm ten years older than her so sibling rivalry in not present to us. I think its because of our age gap. Though no matter how long our age gap is still it doesn't avoid us from quarelling each other its inevitable to sisters especially with a sister like mine. So stuborn and hardhead. But i do understand her. She's still young. And wants to discover the world on her own. Good thing she still listen to me and respect me as her elder sister. Right now we get along so well, compared as to before. Well because before she's still playing chinese garter and i think im too old for that. LOL.

I have felt insecure with my older sister because she could not be trusted, and liked to gossip and hurt people. A person's looks only last so long... their minds and hearts go on much longer. If you truly love your sister, don't be hurt by what other people say and do.. jealousy and insecurity are two of the MOST damaging emotions. They can drive a wedge between people who should be best friends forever--- I don't see my sister anymore, and it makes me sad that what I said to her made no difference in the way she behaved. To her the cruelty is more important than I am!
