I've heard that people who have blue eyes are only attracted to other people with blue eyes, and then same goes for brown eyes. It didn't say anything about green or hazel, but i'm guessing that blue eyed people would also be attracted to green and hazel. I think it's true in my case, because i have hazel/blue and the guys that i have been really attracted to have blue eyes. Why do you think this is? Or do you think it's untrue?

I think that really depends on the person... I have blue eyes and I don't prefer one over the other, but I have seen brown eyes that belong to a girl that I have fallen in love with. Brown eyes can be so sexy! So I guess this is untrue.

I think the only reason that this could be true is that same ethnicities often have the same eye color. So this would be a reason browns stick to browns, blues stick to blues or whatever.

I don't think it is true except for very shallow people who impose it on themselves rather than going by true feelings. Since some people's eyes change in color during their lives, it is hard to believe there is anything inharent to it. My eyes have gotten bluer and bluer as I have gotten older, they started as hazel as far back as I can remember and now are a pure dark blue. I have dated women with several different eye colors from brown to green to hazel to blue. I'm more swayed by hair color but that isn't even a real factor if I'm attracted to someone.

I don't actually get the point why blue eyed one attracted to the same.
I have semi blue-violet eyes and I don't care much of the colors of the eyes. I mean, what's with the color of the eyes?
Is ther a medical explanation or any study to that matter?

I once read in MEN'S HEALTH that men are subconsciously attracted to women with the same color eyes because when they have children they will know if it is their child, by looking at the color of their eyes. Silly story, i know. I personally have only really been attracted to blue or green eyes, don't know why, just have.

I doubt there is much truth to that in some cases. I have really green eyes and my husband had brown eyes. I'm actually attracted to brown eyes because I think they look like puppy eyes. I had a boyfriend with eyes that were a very vibrant shade of blue and it was actually kinda creepy.:P I guess it's just a personal preference. I've not seen that many guys with green eyes now that you have mentioned this eye stuff.
