I'm sick of pap smears and biopsies!!

My pap has been bad for 10 years now, but its never changed till now. Guess they found a lesion on the cervix? Have been tested for high and low HPV and they were negative. So whats next procedure? I'll be 45 in December.

I guess negative is a good word here, and I guess it is just a case of keeping check, I know I hate these tests as well, a couple of years ago I had one that was so painful I vowed never to have another one but I was told that the pain was because my body is now into menopause and the lining has changed, I really hate these things but as my doctor says they are necessary, I hope you keep hearing the word negative, i think this is good in this case.. Sometimes I think it pays to go to another doctor for an opinion, a friend of mine has been treated for high blodd pressure, she moved ans went to another doctor, that doctor picked up on someother thing to do with her heart when the doctor sent her to a specialist to check further he had her straight into the hospital and open heart surgery two days later so I think sometimes it could be good to check with someone else doctors just seem to pick a xcause and look no further...
