how many languages u speak?

hi mylotters... last day i was going through a discussion in mylot which was something like MOST OF THE MYLOTTERS HV LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH AS THEIR PRIMARY LANGUAGE OF COMMUNICATION, this made me wonder how many languages all u guys can speak or write? i m from india ,where we have atleast an hundred different languages are spoken in its various parts, i can speak good enough malayalam(south indian language), english and hindi (north indian language)... how many languages all u guys know?

hi frozen2ice! kemom aachoo? :) how's that for a start? Actually i only speak four languages and that is Visaya or Cebuano (it's my local language), Ilongo,Tagalog(our common language here in the Philippines and English, the universal language. I learn a little bangla from a friend online.But im not very good at it. I find it very difficult. Heeehehehe.im willing to learn another languages. Would u mind teaching me your language too?

yeah i think so. One language is enough and much better i think, so we can understand each other more without worrying that what we say might have a different meaning with them and afraid that someone might get offended by the words we are using.

i'm engineer. working in heavy industries environment in japan. working with japanese, french, india, and phillipines. but i can only speak malay and english. previously, i have forced myself to learn how to speak japanese. but failed. maybe i'm not been borned to speak many languages. i can speak little bit japanese when i wish to buy food stuff at the market.

Apart from my native language Chinese,I can speak two other languages that is English and Germany I major in English,but I learn Germany as a second foreign language It is said that everyone in India can speak fluent English,is that true

hi friend thanks a lot for ur valuable response. For wat u asked, in india atleast in the rural and sub urban parts,not many even know to english,gorget fluent speaking. In the metros though, most can speak good enough english, the accent is however different.Our way of pronouncing some words isnt exactly same as English or Americans does...n its understandable i guess. take care

Hy , I'm From Romania..SO I speak Romanian,obviously English(fluently),Medium :French ,Italian,Begginer:German and some Spanish . I also understand Some words written with the latin alphabet of the Japanese language

hello there. I speak only 2 languages well - English and Chinese. I also speak Hokkien and Cantonese (chinese dialects) but I am not fluent. Lastly, I am a begginer in Spanish. I recently took up this language and I like it alot. =D

Good toipic.I am from bangladesh. My mother tongue is bangla. I am also fluent spreaking in English, hindi urdo. If comes I can speak some sentences of spanish, french, arabic, italian, dutche and philippines. If comes I can tell some words of chinnee, korean and hibreu. Goten tak! (Good day in German):D

Hello Frozen, Yes, I travel but not much international one. I have a strong wish to learn different languages around the world. I just love it. Beside that for my job and interest i need to contact different people around the world. When u can say something in ur contact's or friend's language, it will be much easier for youto interact with him/her.

i actually speak 3 languages. its' english, tagalog and cebuano. i know a few japanese words and spanish words but i don't speak this two languanges. it is really nice if we know how to speak different languages. i'd like to know some french!

I feel so langauge deprived. lol I only speak one language fluently and that is of course. English. But I can also speak a tiny bit of Spanish and French. Not enough for a real convo but I can pick up words from these languages some times. My son Mikey has taken 6 years of Japanese so I am sure he speaks it fluently by now.

Hello there, i know 4 types of language which consist of English, Malay(national language), Chinese and just a little bit of Tamil. I think its good to know a few languages besides your mother tongue,especially if you live in a multi-racial country.

i can speak two languages, one is my native language --Chinese. and the other is my major--English. chinese is the most difficult language, and it is more magical and beautiful.for me. english is the widest language. and it is the common language in the world. if you can speak english, then you can chat with all of peopel in the world.

I speak English, Spanish, Filipino and Italian(still improving it) got big brain to fill so I am now trying to master french. I don't really know how am i gonna use all this language when i live in a country where two languages(english and filipino) are the only languages that are spoken.
