Anyone know where I can find a sewing pattern for "belly bands"/doggie diapers?

I have been without a dog for about a year now. (my last two dogs died within 4 months of each other :-( I have been going to the local shelter 3 -4 times a month. I have always had BIG dogs; but I have recently had problems with balance and I need to walk with a cane. I've become quite familiar with the Animal Control Officer and she suggested that I get a small dog. Hmm, maybe it would be a change I will grow to like?!? Anyway, I was at the shelter last week and she called me over to look at a dog... a purebred Yorkie. Talk about tiny! He's about all of 6 pounds. Wow! My conern with him if he will learn to use the big doggie door (So big I can crawl through it! LOL) I have kidney failure and hook up to a dialysis machine at night. I won't be able to get up to take him out and I'm wondering if he will be able to get off my bed. So I'm thinking a belly band will be the way to go. Geesh, this has turned into an autobiography! ha ha So, if any of you crafty dog enthusiasts know of a source for a belly ban pattern, please let me know.
