I'm living alone in the metro since 1998. I'm actually enjoying it. But there will come a time that you need somebody to be with like a partner, friends and family.

I have never lived alone. I lived with my mom until I was 19. I was in college but found out I was pregnant. Her boyfriend owned the house we lived in and he didn't like kids so she told me that when the baby was born that I would have to move out. She didn't like it and was sorry but I knew it couldn't be any other way and understood. So I quit school (not because of the baby though- just because i hated it) and my boyfriend and I started looking for apartments. We found one and moved in at the beginning of July. My son was born on July 10th. Ever since then I have lived with the same boyfriend. Sometimes I wish I had lived on my own at some point just for the experience and to learn to rely on myself. I have that problem now- I rely on my boyfriend for a lot of things. I am glad that I have family now and wouldn't change it!

There are millions of saints in India who prefer to live alone and I am not a saint. I love to raise the family and never like to be alone except for 30 minutes in a day when I am meditating.

No, i don't like being alone. If one is sick, there is need for someone to be by your side and help to take good care of you, that is why God said it is not good for man to be alone and made a help mate for him which is Eve. Living alone truncates God's plan for man.

well,if u mean staying alone ,independent, not depending on your parents, having a part time job at a post graduate level.... i'l give that a try. well, nevertheless , we cant live independently forever... everyone will get bored at one point or the other and the advantage being, one 'l learn wat life is and the struggle involved. staying alone will b a gutsy decision and not many can cope up with it.
