Bad sore throat

yesterday, i wasn't feeling too good because i got a bad sore throat. i really don't know how i got it, i don't usually get sore throat. My husband told me to just rest last night and i took some medicine before i went to bed. At least i'm already feeling better now. Does anybody here has already experience a bad sore throat? What do you think is the cause of it and how do we get sore throat?

Yes, I've experienced sore throat before. I guess for my case is due to body heatiness. There are times I get sore throat when the previous night I stay out late and eat lots of cookies.

Who has not suffered from sore throat. We in these parts of the world use the home remedies such as gorgle with luke warm water with salt. My wife also uses a root, prepare a decoction out of it and the sore throat just vanieshes in two days. Thanks and have a nice day.

Different kinds of sore throats: viral, bacterial, and those caused by dryness. If it happened to me, I just suck lozengers or strepsil. Normally it takes me for only two days than will be OK.
