I worked first in a ups (uninterruptable power supply). I was given a assembler job which i liked at first but slowly started hating. I thought they would atleast promote me but no such happened. Also found no growth. Then said a big good bye. But i remember it still, because that was my first job.

I work at UPS and the benefits are great. A part time worker in the union not only gets great health benefits, but free benefits. The tuition reimbursement is also great. It's rare in today's workplace, with rising health care cost that a part time employee can get free full health care benefits. The promotion proceess is something all employees are afforded the opportunity to take part in. Ask your supervisor what the process is, starts with submitting a letter of intent. If you don't get an adequate response from your supervisor, contact human resources. Brown can do a lot for you, and yes the job is tough, but the benefits are good.

My experience was positive in regards to work enviornment but I was an unloader and the work was hard especially when I'd worked 10 hours at another job during the daytime. They have great benefits and many people have funded their college education through them.
