Would you take advice from a dog or cat?

Personally if I had my choice, I'd take advice from a cat. That is assuming both dogs and cats could talk. I mean think about it, cats have found a way to be integrated into average home life, with zero work expectations. They are doted upon and pampered and well fed all the very long days of their lives. While dogs have been made to be the loyal servants and companions of man, always at his heel, like an obedient servant. Who would you rather take advice from? The cat, of course! They seem to know how to get through their day with free food and lodging and little expectations or requirements. So, assuming that cats and dogs could talk I would certainly take advice from the furry free loader. With that being said, I'm a work-a-holic at heart, so I'd probably take advice from a hard working dog on how to endure even after you feel like your body just won't go on. Well, I suppose all animals have a lesson to teach us. So, how about you? Assuming cats and dogs could talk, who do you think would have better advice? Who could give you better pointers on how to live a more enriching life.

For me, it would definitely be the cat. They are independent, sophisticated, choosy, finicky little freeloaders. I admire them for that.

I say cats also. They seem to have much better control then dogs do. They seem to own people were as like you said a dog serves you.
