Online VS Offline Personality...

Hi there .... 1ST QUESTION: have i ever been shocked ? ANSWER: Yes, I met in person a few people with whom I chat with online (males and fem) and when that happened, they were different, in some cases i was diappointed, in other cases they were much better than I expected. When I say disappointed I am not talking about how they look like, I am talking personality-wise. 2ND QUESTION: Do I lie about myself to make me let's say sound more interesting? ANSWER: NO, coz if that person i am meeting, is going to like me, I want him/her 2 like me 4 what I am, so if i am creepy online i try to be the creepy me in real, if i am naughty online, I try 2 be the naughty me, if I am funny online etc ..... (but being honest online doesn't mean I always disclose every single bit of me coz there are things that you can't easily reveal to a person u don't know) Nice post Princess Dew ..

Hi there, a lot of people whom i have met and known have not essentially lied about who or what they are, but they have somewhat of an alternate ego or personality. U see, this is one of the disadvantages of internet chatting and people whom u know online and offline is that THEY give you what they WANT you to believe about themselves. MORE OR LESS become something they cant be in real life so the explode on this "exit" called the chat. yes i have been shocked on terms of online/offline personalilty. one of my closest friends is a real fun and moderate guy offline but when i check him online i get a great big shock. he is somewhat silly and childish. in another example, i knew some dude who is so negative and aggressive online, yet in real life i have been told he is one shy pussycat. so there. as for myself, HONESTY is HUGE thing to me and i maintain it in all my doings. i am who i am offline and online and i think you are a better judge of what u have seen from both worlds. ;)
