who much poket money do you give to your children? i think you should give them at least five pound a week if they take packed lunch so they could just buy some snacks after school or at school. but if they dont take pack lunch you should at leats give them ten pound because they have to buy school lunch and if they get hungry they could buy something after school. what do you think?

My son goes by 3 wheeler driven by a driver. He takes his lunch box and during short break, he will have some snacks packed for him. That being the case, and most of his stationery requirements like pencil, eraser, pens, refills, books, note books, drawing sheets etc. are all provided by me. He keeps a note of Rs.50 ($1 and 25 cents) as a reserve money in case of any eventuality, so that he can take a taxi or 3 wheeler and come home. May be useful for a telephone call etc. He is not supposed to buy any junk food at shops near school. Where is the need for pocket money?

HOme is just 800 to 900 metres from the school and he can always come back and have snacks instead of eating junk food.
