having surgery on this coming Friday.
She is in much pain and the pain medication is making her sick. She is going to school to be a LPN and is suppose to start her semester tomorrow but because of this urgent issue with her health she will have to start after she recovers from her surgery.
She had one surgery done on her back last year.
She is a nervous wreck about going under anesthesia a second time for back surgery.
I would like to ask you to say a prayer for her that her surgery will go smoothly and she will have a speedy recovery.

oh goodness yes, she's in my prayers. that's so hard. poor thing. i bet she's stressed about school and such on top of being hurt and scared. poor thing.

i understand. i said a prayer right after i wrote you that last comment. i prayed for you both actually as you were the one requesting the prayer, and she going thru all this...but sounds like you're right there with her, and you need your strength. so that's what i prayed for, your strength and her healing to be quick. bless your heart.

I also have herniated disks, altho as of yet, I have not considered surgery, mainly because I am chicken, but I can at least function within reason.
It is very painful, especially when it first hits you, and I send her all kinds of positive thought and prayers. Please keep us posted.

Sorry I'm late on this discussion. I hope all went well for your sister. I really hope she is ok, and doing well. I will say prayers for her, as I know recovering from any operation can take some time.
