Recently I heard about Jehovah ministries, they say Jesus is the son of God but he his not a God by himself and most of them were saying that in Bible instead of Jehovah it is written as GOD or Lord. I discussed this with my Grand father he clearly mentioned me that Jesus itself is God and Father , Son and spirit is one and the same , Jehovah father came as a son and died for us on cross, if you people have any ideas about this let me know, I started reading Bible long time , I want to check what is right or not , Most of them showed me some verses where it clearly states that Father is separate from son, they also mentioned that how can father be son but In bible it clearly states that Jesus is a meidator between Father and the human beings and our prayers can be reached to father only through Jesus christ ..If you have any ideas about this please share and I still believe that Jesus himself is a God.

Yes many Bibles have taken out the name Jehovah and replaced with God or Lord. There are many scriptures but here are just a few to reason on. To me it is clear that they are all seperate. Mark 13:32 "Of that day or that hour no one knows not even the angels in heaven, nor the son, but only the Father." (That would not be the case if Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit were coequal.) Luke 3:21,22 When Jesus was baptized, a voice came out of heaven saying,"you are my son the beloved." John 14:28 Jesus says: If you loved me you would have rejoiced because I go to the father for the Father is greater than I. ( He is putting his Father above himself) Acts 78:55,56 Stephan was given a vision of heaven in which he saw "Jesus standing at Gods right hand" But made no mention of seeing holy spirit. Mathew 26:39 Jesus fell upon his face and prayed "My father if it is possible let this cup pass away from me. not as I will but as you will" (If the father and son were not disinct individuals such a prayer would have been meaningless. Jesus would have been praying to himself. John 8:17;18 Jesus was answering the Pharisees:In your law it is written that the testimony of 2 men is true, I bear witness to myself, and the Father who sent me bears witness to me. (Jesus spoke of himself as being a seperate individual from the Father)

I personally believe that Jesus is still considered Lord's Son, a messiah and so, He is a seperate entity compared to Lord God Himself. It is very clearly mentioned that the Lord always says that Jesus is His Son, and that Jesus says God as 'My father.' Although some say He is God Himself, I don't think it literally means that way. My interpretation of this is that Jesus has God-like qualities and makes Him as one as the Lord.
