Friend fired off the job and now doesn't know what to do

About a month back my friend moved out of his parents house to his own appartment with his pregenant grlfriend. He wanted a baby but his parents insisted that it was too early in life to start a family and he should concentrate on his new job. he is 23. On the other side he was very satisfied with his job and was confident that he now earns enough to start his own family. To make this desicion relations b/w him & his parents became really sour. though we his friends thought he was right and were very happy for both of them. 3 days back we heard that he has been fired from his job. it has left all of us shocked. Every where there is nothing but confusion and darkness. nobody nows wat to do. differnt things are coming in his mind like abondoning his plan for the baby, he's thinking of patching up with his parents but his ego stands in his way, his body language even shows of sucidal thoughts.its sad really sad and all of us and his other friends are really worried about him but can't figure out what to do.
