If Everyone Cared...

I been listening to this song by Nickelback called If Everyone Cared. Part of the lyrics go like this: If everyone cared and nobody cried If everyone loved and nobody lied If everyone shared and swallowed their pride Then we'd see the day when nobody died http://www.elyrics.net/read/n/nickelback-lyrics/if-everyone-cared-lyrics.html This song makes me think. It makes me think how the world would be if everybody cared about their fellow human being. What this world would be like if people would share and give more of themselves. If everybody would just start telling the truth, what a difference that could make. A little care and love can go a long way. Do you think little changes in the world can make a difference? Does a song ever make you pause and think and wonder?

Yes I've always believe that "little can be BIG". It's like a small spark can burst into flames or a mile always begins with a single step. A little change from one person can do great things because if all people will contribute to little changes to make the world into a better place, sum it all up and it can do great and wonderful things.

Yea and its one of my favorite songs. Kind of along the lines of "What the world needs now: Love" I totally agree if more people sincerely cared about their fellow man, instead of their false gods (i.e. money, power, fame, fake beauty) then maybe we wouldn't have so many problems. If there were little changes here and there, a little more cooperation and less conflict then the difference would be dramatic, at least that's my view. Good discussion by the way Riptide! Thanks for a good post.

This is my favorite song from the time I first heard it. I think it speaks volumes and I only wish everyone could hear it and live by the words! What is that old saying? "Pride cometh before a fall" or something like that. Pride can cause a lot of problems that could be avoided.
