How do people make so much money in this? I'm only up to 12 cents

You just have to keep posting a lot and remember that people can rate the quality of your posts (good or bad) which will inturn affect your earnings. Also, I would suggest bringing in some referrals to help you out. In my experience, it's possible to make $1 per day if you post enough....some people even get more.
