Do you have your Own residence?

My husband and I rent a townhouse from his dad right now but we are building a house at the moment. It's almost finished so we should be moving towards the end of this month to sometime next month. I dread the bills that are going to be coming with owning a house, but I know it will be worth it.

I was working in a construction company which provided a flat at concessional rate. I rented it out to pay for the loan taken towards the flat. Later I sold it and got 33% profit. I was staying in a rented hour for nearly 15 years and now my parents passed away recently and they have written a will in which they have given the house to me. I am now in a house which belonged to my parents now belongs to me. It is a old house, but spacious, situated in the centre of commercial hub.
