in the loving memory of jesus christ we are celebrating Cristmas.... today i say you A Warm,Happy,Merry,Christmas and Very Very Happy New Year...!

I associate Christmas with Christmas trees and trimmings, songs, carolling, noche buena, family reunions, gift giving, 13th month pay and other mundane things. But of course, minus the trimmings and funfare, Christmas means the baby born in the manger and that we should worship and give thanks for his coming. Usually people become depressed with the coming of the holiday season because we have become so materialistic in our celebration. We can always celebrate it simply by not really spending too much to avoid being stressed out...advance Christmas, too.

For my family, it's a time to spend together. To take that extra step to make sure that friends and family know that you care -- especially those who live farther away that we don't see much anymore.

In my family Christmas is a religious holiday, celebrating the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. It is a celebration and the world begins anew. Everything has a meaning, some examples: wreath-neverending love, evergreen tree-new life. We start our celebration with Midnight Mass to await the birth of Christ and once he is placed in the manger, the festivities begin, lol.
