I can’t surf net and mylotting for four days.

Friday night when I switched on my computer, it stayed still on the same page and couldn’t go any further. Even though I had followed the instructions strictly and tried out many times it still couldn’t work. Then I gave up to have any attempt on it. I then made up my mind to send my cpu for repairing the following day. Since that Friday was our 50th National Anniversary Day so many computer shops didn’t open for business on the Saturday. I never gave up and kept on finding any. Finally in the evening I managed to get a shop to have my cpu serviced. Here Sunday was not a working day and they could only had a check and repairing the cpu on the following Monday. This meant I could only get my cpu back on Tuesday. At last I got it back this evening. After repairing and upgrading the speed of my computer had improved quite a lot. I was so happy that I could surf net and do mylotting again. I felt rather uneasy to miss my computer during those few days as I was quite addicted to mylot. I tried to occupy myself with reading, watching tv, and visiting friends instead of mylotting. Hi my friends, What do you do if your computer is out of service? How do you spend your leisure if you couldn’t mylotting? Do you feel bored if you couldn’t surf net?

If something went wrong with my connection or my computer, I would try my best to get it fixed as soon as possible, which I did. I just cannot wait for it to be fixed. Without my computer and connection to surf on the Internet, I feel lost because I need to stay in touch with my friends and interact with them on mylot and my friends in real life.

After missing mylot friends for four days… seems like years. I’m so happy to meet you as the first one to chat with in my discussion again. I’m glad to see your posting number nearly approaching 2000. Really, in this few days I felt rather depressed as I had totally lost contact with all the mylot friends and the external world even. It’s true that computer is very essential in our real life. We couldn’t afford to miss it a while though. Have you return to your working site, my dear friend?

Hello, friend. I am glad to say that Mylot seems to be your sweetheart. Four days seem to years for you, which means Mylot is really special to you. I spend all of my spare time here posting. So my posting number is nearly approaching 2000. I can see how depressed you feel as you lost the connection. I agree that computer is really a great stuff in our daily life. I left my hometown on the 24th and arrived at my working site on the morning of 25th of August. Right now we are having our classes. Thanks for your greetings, my dear friend. I hope to see you more often here.

Hi jisir, congratulation for your tremendous increase in posting number. I think you are quite happy to be back to work again I suppose. To have a chance to be able together with your lovely students again and impart your valuable knowledge is really a great pleasure. Sometimes while I’m mylotting I would be interrupted with calls from friends or relatives. Even though under this situation I still feel very happy to chat with them especially with my beloved son. I’m now chatting with him who is in business trip far away in Korea via skype . So this is why my mylotting is quite often discontinued every now and then. My hubby always teases me that I couldn’t survive without mylot. He says “one day is just like three autumns” lol... During those days he always accompanied me in and out looking for computer shops.

it's good to hear your computer is okay now.my computer can't link to the net for several days too.at first i do feel bored, and dont know what else to do,it's like i don't want to do anything without internet.but later,i forced myself to go to library, reading books or magazines,it's really a good way to forget the internet. i feel strange that when i can connect to the internet,i don't feel like to use it because i have lots of other things to do,but when it is unavaliable,i feel uncomfortable.lol, maybe i am just accustomed to it.

Computer is essential to life. It might be out of service very often especially when we need it badly. We always feel like getting lost when our pc is not serviceable but sometimes we are reluctant to do anything with the computer even when it is in good condition. How ridiculous is human behavior! It’s sad that we normally never value what we posses at present and will regret over when we have lost it, right, my friend?

True, we ought to treasure our possession. Coincidently the networks here have just recovered from breaking down for nearly two days. Now I must make full use of the networks lol... to chat with my son abroad later. Of course I won’t miss mylot friends in the meanwhile as well.

It's actually time to take some rest and cool down when you are away from mylot. I think the computer must be very tired to access mylot webpage also and want to take a rest as well. Right now I am trying my best to stay with mylot. But sometimes, I do have other priorities in my life to attend and I had no choice but to take a break. Hope you can sustain your passion towards mylot, btw, it's an excellent website where you can meet new friends, learn English and make some pocket money.

You are right, cheongyc, the old computer gifted by my beloved son is rather old now but it’s of good brand and nice quality. It has been serving me for all the time through hardship and pleasure in life. It’s my best and faithful companion during my leisure. I suffered a lot during those few days when he was sick and not with me then. Now I’m very much delighted as the computer had recovered and could serve me again. Earlier my son had suggested of getting a new laptop for me to replace the old pc but now I think it’s not necessary to have it at this moment. It’s true we ought to refrain ourselves from certain favorites if situation doesn’t allow.

Oh dear shirleylily. It’s a pity to learn that the internet net work in your area is too slow. As I know the 1515 dial up net work is too slow when comparing with the ADLS broadband net work. I suggest you to use the ADLS broadband net work so you won’t get bored because you can surf net much faster and at the same you also could save a lot of expenses of using it.

My dell was down with the flu or VD for a week and I hated it. I do have a lap top which I used very little. Just this evening got my computer back. yayayaya now I am finally back to where I belong. I am surfing the net and flu free and VD free. With Norton anti virus in place and all that goes with that.

From the illness that you mentioned on your pc, it’s quite true that computer is one of our most intimate companions nowadays. So if he gets sick we of course would suffer a lot as we couldn’t even miss him for a single minute lol... Hi mommom, (don’t know why I like to call you like this, do you mind?) you are very lucky as you still have a laptop to work with when your computer is out of service. I’m glad that your intimate pc again with you now.
