whats your favourite vegetable

All the members of my family like to eat the baby leaves of the sweet potato plant. So I plant some sweet potatoes in my little veg garden. After planting more than half a year the sweet potatoes could then be harvested. During this few months we could usually get lots of baby potatoes leaves in every other week. To fry the leaves with paste prepared from onions, chilies, dried shrimps and shrimp paste is a wonderful and tasty dish. This dish is quite popular in my place.

There is what we call in the Philippines OKRA, in the picture, which may be the lady fingers, not sure of the English. These are very nutritious and easy to cook, just steam, with tomatoes and salted fish, very delicious and I like them very much.

mine is eggplant coz there can be a lot of variations in cooking it..
